Safety at 30 meters for a risk training tower
A major public authority has built a training tower over 30 metres high to train personnel in complex rescue operations.
The fall risk was real: work at height activities such as stretcher handling inside vertical shafts require permanent, reliable, and perfectly integrated fall arrest systems.

The characteristics of this structure
The training tower is developed on 5 levels, each designed to simulate different operational scenarios. The exercises involve operations at height up to 30 meters, where continuous protection without interruptions is necessary for hooking/unhooking operations.
At the same time, operators must move in confined spaces, transporting equipment and stretchers during rescue simulations. The complexity of the operations and the structure’s configuration made it essential to design flexible and highly customized fall protection systems, capable of adapting to each level of the tower.
What kind of intervention was needed?
The project involved the installation of permanent fall protection systems designed to operate in synergy and to guarantee:
- Complete protection of all 5 levels
- Simultaneous use by multiple operators
- Solutions integrated into the structure
- Freedom of movement
