Fall Protection Systems for heterogeneous roofs in an industrial plant
The plant subject to the intervention — an important manufacturer of transmission systems for tractors and off-highway vehicles for over 90 years — had a particularly complex roof morphology. This structural heterogeneity required a thorough preliminary analysis of each work at height area.
Without adequate protection systems, any access or activity at height exposes workers to a real danger and the company to direct liability in the event of an injury.

The characteristics of the structure
The project involved the installation of fall arrest systems, each designed to meet a specific need within a clear and coherent safety plan.
The assessment of the necessary solutions took into account the type of roofing, access and transit routes, environmental conditions, the presence of chemical agents, and integration with the existing structure without altering its characteristics.
What benefits have been provided?
At the end of the project, the plant now has:
- Certified, durable, and reliable fall arrest systems
- Controlled safety of the plant
- Solutions integrated with the specific characteristics of the structure
