Securing roofs.

Research-based multinational pharmaceutical company with a presence in Italy since 1932. The Verona headquarters, until a few years ago a nerve center for research, recently underwent a major roofing safety upgrade with the goal of enabling maintenance workers to operate without danger of falling from heights.

After careful inspections, Genesi technicians opted to install self-supporting parapets, a collective protection system suitable for installation on flat roofs or roofs with a maximum pitch of 5°.

In order not to damage the roof, self-supporting parapets were chosen to replace permanent fastenings with CLS counterweights of 25Kg each that prevent the parapet from shifting and tilting.

The entire system is made of aluminum alloy: die castings for the joining elements and extrusions for the vertical posts and stringers, all assembled using stainless steel hardware. The choice of durable materials allows Genesi to issue a 10-year product warranty.
